Ingrid Luo is a sophomore at Sage Hill School. She was introduced to piano at age 7 and soon noted for her interest and talent in music. Since then, she started to take piano lessons and is currently studying with Jenny Shin. She has been a prizewinner of both international and national piano competitions, including Best Performance in the LA international Liszt Competition, Gold Award in WPTA Finland International Piano Competition, 1st place in the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music, 1st Alternate in MTAC State Solo competition, the Gold Medal in SCJBF Complete Works Audition, 1st place in MTAC Scholarship Competition, and 1st place in various Open Categories of SYMF. She made her debut performance at both the Zankel Hall and Weil Hall of Carnegie Hall, as well as the Zipper Concert Hall of the Colburn School of Music. What has been motivating Ingrid to continue her piano pursuit is her love of classical music, which she believes will essentially bring peace, beauty and love to this world.

She is passionate about serving the community by sharing her enthusiasm of music at senior centers, schools and many other venues. She is also leading a service project team with the mission to build a stronger, more connected community empowered with a deep sense of social responsibility. Aside from music and community service, Ingrid also enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and traveling.
