Jadis Chen is a junior at Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, California. She began her piano lesson at the age of seven and is currently studying with Rose Chen. She was recently invited to perform at the Music for Minors Benefit Concert, J’adore: Gift of Music Foundation Benefit Concert, and the Peninsula Symphony Concert as a way to give back to the community. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2016 as a winner of both the AADGT International Young Gifted Musicians Competition and the American Protege International Competition. At the age of 16, she has won top prizes in the Gavilan College Senior Piano Competition, Marilyn Mindell Piano Competition, Sylvia M. Ghiglieri Piano Competition, MTAC Piano Solo Competition, CAPMT State Honor Competition, US International Piano Competition, ENKOR International Competition, US New Star Piano Competition, Western Regional CA State Competition, SF Asian Youth Talent Competition, Great Composer Competition, and is a 5 time medalist in the US Open Music Competition.

Jadis is the President of both the Music for Millions Leadership Program and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. She has led groups of high school students to perform at various concert and township venues, and has taught musical education to local pre-schools. In the past summers, she participated in the Curtis Young Artists Program, the John Perry Summer Academy, and the University of Pacific Senior Piano Camp with merit scholarship. She has played in masterclass with Mack McCray, John Perry, Corey McVicar, Sharon Mann, Ruth Slenczynska, Dmitry Rachmanov, and Sarkis Baltaian. In her spare time, she enjoys jewelry making and volunteering at local hospitals.
