Aldric Gozon, 15, started his piano studies at the age of 5 and currently studies under Wenjing Liu, previously under Molly Nguyen. He has participated and won in competitions such as first place in the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, US Open Music Competition, Diamond Bar Performing Arts, Musical Arts Club of Orange County, CAPMT Sonata-Sonatina, MTAC Concerto, and SYMF. He performed in Carnegie Hall from winning second place the American Protege concerto competition in 2015. In 2016, he performed a concerto with the Orchestra Collective of Orange County as a result of winning the CAPMT Concerto Competition, and was also a finalist at the Los Angeles Young Musicians International Competition. Aldric is a junior at Sunny Hills High School and is in the EPIC engineering program and a cabinet member of its club. He also regularly volunteers at the La Habra Children’s Museum.
