Annie Li, 14, a freshman from Irvine, CA, started playing piano at age 6. With her passion and dedication, she has won various competitions, including 1st place at the Bradshaw & Bruno International Competition, winner of the Los Angeles Liszt International Competition, and winner and special Best Performance Prize winner of contemporary piece of the Los Angeles Young Musician International Competitions. She also won Gold Medal at the AADGT International Young Musician Competition, gold medal at the Southern California Junior Bach Festival Complete Works Audition, multiple 1st place prizes at Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF), 1st place at the  UDACS Young Piano Musician Competition, 1st prizes at MTAC Scholarship competitions, and others. She gave her solo piano debut at Carnegie Hall, and Zipper Concert Hall. Annie currently studies piano with Jenny Shin.
Apart from her piano study, Annie is also a violinist and has been an active member of the Irvine School district, All-Southern California, and All State California Honor Orchestras for multiples years. She is also an active member of her school’s Dance Company. During her free time, she often volunteers and performs at senior centers to share music with elders, and also tutors math to less fortunate kids.
