Michelle Cho is a 15-year old violinist from Irvine, California. Ever since she had begun her studies in the violin from the age of 5, Michelle had been participating numerous orchestras far and wide due to her love to perform. She has consistently made it into her schools’ top orchestras and is honored to have been the concert master for Northwood High School’s Concert Orchestra. She is proud to have been a part of the IUSD’s honor orchestra as a first violinist all throughout her elementary to middle school years. She has also been an active member of the All Southern Orchestra every year as a first violinist since she was in middle school. Other orchestras she has been a member of include the Orange County Youth Orchestra, Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings, and Irvine Classical Players. Striving to serve others through music wherever she goes, Michelle has been an active member of the Love in Music organization and the Musicians United for Service club at her local high school, Northwood High School. Always on the look-out to explore new things, Michelle has been part of other organizations like Speech and Debate, Science Olympiad, Mock Trial, Odyssey of the Mind, and OC Science, where she has received numerous awards.
